Our team used all their experience and knowhow to deliver a stunning branding experience and strategic wayfinding programme for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, held annually in the grounds of The Royal Hospital Chelsea.
RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2018
Project Overview
Our team provided an extensive branding programme for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2018, including a strategic wayfinding system and the Thames Water centre piece stand. The RHS require the show to look stunning as the world’s horticultural experts and enthusiasts focus their attention on the Chelsea Flower Show, so our teams work extensively in the build up to ensure a stunning setting for the event.
Based on the success of last year’s strategic wayfinding programme we yet again delivered a system that allowed the thousands of people attending over the week to move smoothly around the exhibition stands without causing congestion on the intricate pathways.
Additionally, for the first time, our creative team designed and delivered a centre piece stand for Thames Water. They wanted to reaffirm the importance of refilling water bottles instead of creating landfill and thus provided free water refills for visitors. Due to hot weather this was a crowd favourite during the whole week.
Outcome
Over 150,000 people attended the RHS Chelsea Flower Show this year, with the usual special guests such as the Queen, other members of the Royal Family and celebrities also making appearances throughout the week. Furthermore, the stunning event is broadcast live by the BBC and streamed across the UK to millions daily.
