The last weekend in 2017 saw the Qatar International Derby take place and we were at the heart of making it a spectacle for all who took part and spectated.

For the past two years we have been delivering the prestigious Qatar International Derby for the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club and this year the client wanted the theme of the event to honour the winning horse from two years ago.
Our Dubai studio worked closely with the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club to create the design, concept and artwork of all the branding assets for the high-profile race. We then produced and installed the branding to give the event the impact it deserved.
This year, based on our experience at the 2017 Grand National, we introduced staircase branding for the first time in the derby’s history which added to the impact of the branding and was well received by the client. We also produced an LED trailer for the event and a vehicle wrap of the Toyota Land Cruiser which could be seen driving along the track and managing proceedings for the Derby.
Additionally, the design for the invitations that were sent out to guests was created in our design studio, creating a holistic design look and feel.
Now in the second year of producing the event, and having proven our expertise in 2016, we were trusted to steer the direction of this year’s branding. We advised the client to progress from a lighter colour scheme to a more impactful and richer purple.
The results were noticeable all round, with positive feedback received from both the client and the guests alike. 2017 also saw larger crowds compared to previous years.
