This week the final event of the 2019 European Tour season takes place in Dubai for the 11th year running, the DP World Tour Championship. CSM Live have delivered the iconic branding in each of the past eleven years for this event, which brings together the top 50 golfers on the European Tour and sees them battle it out to be crowned the 2019 Tour Champion.
The final event of this year’s race to Dubai and Rolex Series provides the winner of the tournament with the largest first prize in the history of golf. What’s more, it is set to be a classic with McIlroy, Rose, Rahm, Fleetwood and 2019 Open Champion Lowry all featuring.
As the DP World Tour Championship draws to a close the 2019 season, we look back on what has been a standout year for the CSM Live and European Tour partnership. Our biggest year yet has seen us work with the European Tour on 11 events in 9 different countries.
Continuing our long-standing work on the three UK European Tour tournaments – Betfred British Masters, Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open and BMW PGA Championship – we successfully added the Scandinavian Invitation event in Sweden, Porsche European Open in Germany and Italian Open in Rome to our portfolio of European Tour events this year, rounded out by the Golf Sixes, Hero Challenge, Open De France & Q School events continued from 2018.
In addition to providing the branding and signage for European Tour events, the golf team at CSM Live have worked closely with multiple departments in the European Tour so as to deliver on such initiatives as colour testing for the new European Tour branding and the implementation of branding at the newly refurbished ET headquarters at Wentworth.
We have also provided the European Tour with some consultancy throughout the year to support in developing the look and feel of the Rolex Series events. The result of that work was the introduction of one colour tee boards to all Rolex Series events providing the events with a strong and distinguishable identity.
In addition to the all event colour tee boards, we designed, introduced and shield-shaped par, yardage and a player entrance arch for the 1st tee which have now become synonymous with the Rolex Series.
Thank you to all that have been part of this record-breaking year.
