We designed and delivered the Industrial Internet Conference hosted by GE within the iconic Battersea Power Station featuring “Big Metal” exhibits.
GE: European customer and media event
Project Overview
We were appointed in April 2013 to design and produce this Industrial Internet Conference, hosted by GE. Held within the iconic setting of Battersea Power Station, we produced a branded environment featuring an auditorium for 260 delegates and media, with breakout areas for a further 120 delegates.
In addition, an exhibition space was also configured to feature their “Big Metal” exhibits including a 6 tonne aero-derivative engine, four megawatt biomass generator, deep sea oil sensors and some very complex medical equipment, not forgetting GE’s Caterham F1 car.
Process
The 2 days of set up required a production crew of 80 people working simultaneously to install the exhibits, purpose built sets, full lighting and AV systems and branding across the site.
The GE client is immensely satisfied with the PR impact of the event and stated that this was the best organised and impactful European customer & media event, that they have hosted.
