Louis Vuitton America's Cup World Series 2015 event branding

CSM Live delivers the premium Look and Feel of the Louis Vuitton America's Cup World Series 2015.

Project Overview

We were responsible for delivering the Louis Vuitton branding for two out of the three announced America's Cup World Series 2015 events, Portsmouth and Bermuda. Our creative team achieved the premium Look and Feel through careful selection of event imagery with a nautical edge and impactful colour scheme of red, white and blue. We delivered the event branding in both public and hospitality areas.

Spaces were broken up by bespoke features, angular signage and florring to create more open hospotality areas, private lounge seating and experiential areas for the general public. Though each space required subtle variations in branding and interactive opportunities for event sponsors, we created a fully integrated overall Look and Feel.

Project Outcomes

In Portsmouth, as well as the hospitality structure and areas, we also delivered all the wayfinding and the Look and Feel to the rest of the event spaces open to the general public; The Waterfront Festival Arena, Gunwharf and the historical dockyards where the boats were moored. Items for these areas included wayfinding toblerones, 48 sheet billboards, 100+ flags and poles, pavement graphics, stage and perimeter fence branding along with concession headers and scrim. The overall result was a coherent and integrated branding solution that maintained the premium feel and quality of the event and the event sponsors.

In Bermuda, we joined forces with CSM Live North America to prepare for the next leg of the America's Cup World series. Even in the face of Hurricane Joaquin, our dedicated team worked hard to transform the look of the event and deliver over 100 crowd barriers, mile markers, cuberones and information towers, as well as delivering numerous building wraps, banners, scrim, street maps and flagpoles. In addition to this, we produced three super sites; a 32m x 10m and 20m x 10m PVC mesh banner covering a container wall in the habour, a large, stand-out branded vinyl on the side of the lighthouse and a branded vinyl covering the entire length and width of a six storey building.
